Good people don't behave in this way and while it's painful financially and emotionally, your daughter might be best to put this one down to experience and don't allow it to impact negatively on her fair and generous nature.

Your daughter should discuss the failings of the agency and let them know how she feels she has been let down. I suggest that the contract needs to be tightened up next time as well. Learn from the experience.
