I feel your considerable disappointment and frustration, Mehmet.
As you know, I've earned a living from writing over four decades in journalism, PR and marketing, so I like to believe I can discern the wheat from the chaff.
I have supported your publications on Medium largely because of your open and altruistic approach to your writing community.
I have written and commented positively on Medium in recent years in the hope that those behind the scenes currently reticent to provide any genuine transparency, or honesty, would offer a fairer return to reward accomplished writing.
What an opportunity Medium had.
However, it seems the commercial lure is squeezing the life from the positive values and goodwill once promoted so enthusiastically and with such conviction by Medium itself, not so long ago.
What an opportunity missed.
Able writers are generally astute and will recognise Medium's failure to deliver a fair return for good writing.
It's important to note that the quality of the writers make Medium worth the subscription - Not poorly spun promises and promotion.
Once the wheat has slipped through its fingers, Medium will be left holding the chaff.
