And to be accepted by those around you...
It's all incredibly draining and until we learn, we suffer.
It's an important lesson in life.
Some of the most valuable lessons are the most painful in my experience, but if we can learn from them and use them to better understand and accept ourselves, there is so much to be gained from it.
It seems like you're moving forward. Keep up the good work, David.
p.s. Two of my three grown-up children (31 and 27) and their partners have moved back home and are currently living with us while they straighten out their lives. It's just how it is and we're there for each other.
